Things To Do
Chief Mukuni Village
Mukuni Village was founded around the 11th Century. It is a working village and home to about 6,000 Leya people.

By invitation, the Chief allows visitors into the village to view how his people have lived for generations  Visitors are taken on a tour by the Chief's guides to learn about the villagers  beliefs and traditional customs. The villagers welcome visitors into their huts and pride themselves on how they are built and decorated.  You will meet various craftsmen and women at work and also get to taste some traditional foods and beer.  Mukuni is a working village, not a purpose built tourist attraction, and it is a privilege to be welcomed into the Leya peoples lifestyle
